Pages are static. Your server-side visit leaves a standard log entry, containing your IP address, browser type, page requested and time, which is used to keep the site running and to see which pages are read.

The ZIP checker compares what you type with a list already loaded in the page. The ZIP is not transmitted.

A phone call to a number on this site passes through a call-management service. That service records the caller's number, the time, the length of the call and the number dialled. A call may be recorded for quality and training, and when it is, an announcement says so at the start.

What you say, including your name, address and the heater problem, is shared with the plumbing company handling your request so that they can visit. They use it to arrange and carry out the work.

The site does not set advertising cookies. Basic analytics may count visits and clicks on phone numbers without storing your name or address.

You can ask not to be recorded at the start of a call, and you can ask for call records about you to be deleted. Mention it on a call or through the contact page. The site is not directed to children under 13.
